Presbyterian Platters on Saturday, November 10th!
This is a very popular event where groups of 8-10 (21 and older) meet in members’ homes for an evening of food and fellowship. Hosts provide meats and beverages and guests bring appetizer, salad, vegetable, or dessert. Childcare is available at the church.
It is a time for a diverse group to meet, renew old friendships and make new ones.

Dear Friends:
A crew of about 20 volunteers, including a group of more than a dozen Austin College students, braved off-and-on showers to deck the roof and complete a few of the strong-backs. They did a fine job, and the house is almost ready to be closed in. Also, the water meter is in, and the sewer connection is done. We are right on schedule, thanks to excellent volunteer support and reliable, skilled crew chiefs.

We will need human strong-backs to work this week on laying felt, installing windows and doors and beginning the exterior trim and siding.
